Miss A has been doing shoots with me since the very beginning!! I just love her! Back when I first started photographing boudoir she volunteered to model for me and since then we have done multiple sessions! This will be our fourth shoot together. She always has such fresh and fun outfit ideas and always comes in excited and ready to rock her looks! This session we went with 4 different looks. I am drowning in all the amazing images we got from that day!! This is only 1 part of our session. I will have more to come soon! I'm also really excited about this set!! It's brand new and it's soft antique feel is a great addition to our set list! This set is perfect paired with blues, soft pastels, pinks, black, floral and white lingerie! I just love it!! Enjoy!

This session was so fun! Miss K arrived a little nervous but she quickly relaxed and was chatting away with us girls here in the studio. She was telling us how she'd managed to keep everything a secret from hubby so she could surprise him, but that her very observant lil daughter might spill the beans if she came home with her makeup and hair all fancy! =) I had such a great time! She added on one of our little adorable 5x5 flirt albums and wanted to wait to see if her hubby would want to do a disk upgrade. After she gifted her album to him for their anniversary she emailed me saying that yup... the hubby wants to add on the disk! Uhhh yeah! She looks amazing!!! Thank you for allowing me to share your photos Miss K!!

This last year I have had the privilege to work with some truly amazing woman! I am sad it's taken me so long to blog all of these. I even have more than this!! Since having my son in August, blogging has kinda taken back seat to a lot of other things, but I am changing that! Expect updates and LOTS of photos. Instead of doing a bunch of different blog posts for each client, I decided to do a post with images from tons of shoots over the past year. Thank you to all the ladies who let me share their images! Each of them are unique in style, age and beauty. You ladies rock!!

This week's inspired look is from December 2010, Maxim Magazine with Cobie Smulders, from How I met your mother. I love this look!! This would be such a great look for our natural light or bedroom set. Very simple and super sexy!! Texture in photos makes them pop so much more, so this long, knit open sweater is great for that. I also love her tube socks in one of the photos! Toned down from the normal thigh high fishnets and tights, but still is edgy, and flirty. This would also be a great look if you were having us come to your house for a home session!

2011 Spring Casting Call for the Cure!

We have an amazing opportunity for all of you ladies in the month of April!!! For all of April we will be doing a casting call for anyone interested in being apart of an art piece we will be working on for our studio! Ready for this..... all you have to pay is $5 for a session here in our studio with 2 outfit changes allowed, and all that $5 will be going towards charity! All $5 will be donated to The Susan G. Komen for the cure non profit organization! Susan G. Komen is an amazing non profit that raises funds for the research of breast cancer. We want to be apart of making a difference in the research and ask that you come be apart of this event. In addition, for every $10 you spend in product we will be donating $1 to the charity as well. Even if you are a past client and want to purchase prints from a past session we will be donating from your purchases as well!

So for a $5 donation you get a 2 outfit, 1 hour session here in our studio and a $25 credit to use for product. There is no minimum product purchase required, just your permission to model for our art piece for our studio and online. We really want to celebrate woman of all shapes and sizes and would be so honored if you would come be apart of this event! This package is valued over $400. Lingerie Closet Week 1

I get the question "Katie, what do I wear for my boudoir shoot??" All the time. So to help you out we've decided every friday is going to be lingerie day! Every week I will post some tips and suggestions on pieces to pick up for your shoot!

This weeks post is perfect for someone who wants to come in and do a more editorial look for one of their outfits. It's not your typical bra and undies look..... but paired underneath this motorcycle jacket with shorts and fishnets it's a knockout look!!!

This piece is perfect for someone wanting something sweet and more conservative. Still very sexy.

We're getting ready for the new release of our boldboudoir 2011 website, and for it's spiffy new video page we wanted to add some video bio's of our makeup team! The new website is about a week away from it's launch but in the mean time we wanted to share with you the two videos that we shot!

Priscilla has been working with boldboudoir the longest. She is AMAZING! Her makeup is truly an art. Besides being a baddass makeup artist she has a cupcake business with our hairstylist Cat as well! They have a really fun blog so if you want to check them out click here! Here is her video!

When I decided to do the desesrving woman contest I was not prepared for how emotional it would be to read all your stories! It was such an honor and pleasure to read all of the wonderful things about each of you. Some emails had me in tears. Thank you for sharing a little piece of your life with me. I wish I could give every one of you a shoot. It was really hard to pick just one!

After much consideration, I we have decided to gift this shoot to Celia K! Her friend forwarded the info on our contest to Celia's hubby and he wrote me telling me about his wife. She had no idea she was being entered. She sounds like an amazing wife and mommy and I can't wait to meet her!!! Celia I will be sending you all the info for your shoot this week! =) Looking forward to spending a day in the city with you and taking some amazing photos!

New Girl on the Block!

I can't tell you how excited I am to have this girl be a part of my team! I met Kalli about a year ago at our old church and we hit it off and bonded over our pregnancy. We have been friends all year but have recently become extremely close. We are constantly laughing, sharing experiences with our growing 5 and 6 month old baby boys and are always talking about life, our dreams and our passion for our maker, Jesus Christ. She is a huge encouragment to my life. I never expected to be this close and can honestly say she is one of my best friends. Make sure you check out the video at the bottom of the page that fills you in on what Kalli will be doing for boldboudoir!

There is a reason we're photographers and not videographers! Please excuse our ghostly, slightly cross eyed goofiness in this lil video we put together for you! =D

Hot Mama Session!

I recently had the privilege to do a Hot Mama Session for my "big sis" Ginamarie. I have known Ginamarie since I was 16. When I was younger I babysat her kids at church and at their home. Ginamarie is a mom to 7, with baby number 8 on the way!!! Can you believe it?? Doesn't she just look fabulous? Not only 7 kids.... 7 beautiful girls. Over the years our friendship as women has grown into a friendship. She was there for me in some big hardships, fun times, my pregnancy and also the birth of my son. She called me one day to excitedly tell me "I figured out what our relationship is!! I'm not like your mom... but I'm not just a friend. I'm your big sister!!!" It was really cute.

I was so excited about how these photos turned out. Ginamarie shared with me the day of her shoot that she had been feeling a little down. I literally saw her come alive as I showed her the images that day. She later text me and told me how much it helped lift her spirits to have beautiful photos taken of her. That made my heart glad! That is what I love to do! Especially being pregnant (I've been there) it can make you feel not so hot at times. I'm so glad she felt beautiful that day and has these special photos to remind her. Because let's be honest... she is gorgeous! These are just a few glamorous belly shots from that shoot. Love you sis!

Miss Danielle's Super Model Shoot

Today Danielle came over for an outdoor super model shoot. We attempted to shoot outdoors but it was soooooo hot that we were melting!! We decided to take the shoot indoors with the AC and to do outdoor pics later when the weather cools down. Needless to say though...when we got back to the studio it was still HOT. This time just Danielle and her smokin hot pics!!
